Prochem 50 Years

The Prochem story began 50 years ago in 1956, by identifying the need for stainless steel fittings in the Bass Strait and Australian developing industry. Today, our Australian owned company is the nation’s leader in the design, manufacture and supply of quality stainless piping and instrumentation products.

We believe our longevity lies in the simple belief of adding value to our customers’ business needs at all times. The reason why we have set the benchmark in our field is because we listen to what industry needs and work together to develop solutions, and our values have remained uncompromised for 50 years.

By partnering with industry we have developed very strong relationships to ensure that each client has complete control over their business. We have made sure they don’t need to worry about the costly downtime which results from poor quality products.

Over the last 50 years Prochem has continually sought the latest technology and impeccable craftmanship to develop innovative designs and services which has revolutionised the pipeline industry.

This has resulted in products that meet the strictest of standards which have also received third-party certification to the requirements of AS/NZ/ISO9001.

The Prochem network has also expanded with six stocking branches across the country, ensuring rapid turnaround times for key industries such as oil and gas, mining and mineral processing. We have also opened in two offices in Singapore and Thailand.
